Vineyard Kids
A place for kids to learn about Jesus at their level.
new?
Pre-register your kids before Sunday and easily add new babies or children to your household online. It’s a simple way to make check-in smooth and stress-free when you arrive. Our trained volunteers will guide you through the classroom layout and materials, and explain the pickup process.
*All of our volunteers are trained and background checked.
check in & out
Our check-in process begins 15 minutes before each service.
When you check-in, you will be given a four-digit code on your tag and your kids’ name tags. If your child needs a parent during the service, your number will be displayed on the lower right corner of each screen in the main sanctuary.
At the end of the service, you will pick up your child by providing your parent tag to an individual on the Vineyard Kids team. The Nursery and Preschool programs are located behind the check-in desk. Elementary (6 years through 4th Grade) programs are in the gym. The 5th Grade classroom is located in the hallway south of the gym.
nursery
The nursery is separated into two rooms based on age: Newborn through 9 months, then 10 months through 1 year. During the service, your child will be held and cared for by trained volunteers. Your kids will love the engaging toys available to them!
preschool
Preschool consists of separate classrooms specially designed for 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and 5-year-olds. Your child will participate in fun games, a craft or coloring, kid-friendly worship, skits, puppets, and a Bible lesson.
elementary
Elementary programs are located in the gym. Kids ages 6 years through 4th Grade participate in a small group experience intended to help them apply the Bible lesson to their daily life. They also receive weekly resources to take home to help facilitate scripture study with their families.
5th grade
Once students finish 4th grade, they move into 5th Grade. Fifth graders stay in the main sanctuary for worship and are dismissed to the check-in desk afterward. They will then have an age-specific lesson, small group discussion, and prayer. Parents must check in their 5th graders before the service, and checkout takes place in the 5th Grade classroom south of the gym.

kids mission
At Lakes Area Vineyard we want your children to experience God, and grow in their ability to love God and people while learning how to give that love away.
experience
At the Vineyard, we say, “There is no Big Holy Spirit and Little Holy Spirit.” The same God who works through us also works in our children. We want kids to know God has a plan for their lives and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus in a safe, fun environment where they feel loved and valued.
safetey
The safety of all children is our highest priority. Name tags and parent tags help us to ensure the right person is picking up at check out. All leaders have gone through an onboarding process where they complete background checks and ministry-safe training. Leaders are identified by a name badge.
