Ladies! Come join the Summer Book Club and dive into the book Find Your People: Building Deep Community in a Lonely World by best-selling author Jennie Allen.
In a world that’s both more connected and isolated than ever, we’re often tempted to do life alone, whether because we’re so busy or because relationships feel risky and hard. In the book, we will find fascinating insights from science, history, timeless biblical truth, and vulnerable stories from the author’s own life. Plus, you will learn practical solutions for creating true community, the kind that’s crucial to our mental and spiritual health.
The Summer Book Club will meet twice this summer on June 11th and July 16th at Lakes Area Vineyard Church. The June session will cover chapters 1-6 and the July session will discuss chapters 7-12.
Books can be purchased anywhere books are sold. So grab your book and all your gals for a great discussion this summer!

Moms you’re invited to join us for L.A. Moms here at LAVC! Lakes Area Moms is a place where moms can connect and be inspired to be all God created them to be! Plus great childcare is included during the time you are here! Registration is $50 per semester (September-December/January-April).
LA Moms does not meet during the summer. Please check back in August for our fall semester dates and registration!

Taunya Todd, Lakes Area Vineyard Women’s Event Coordinator
Taunya is passionate about leading women to connect and discover the beauty and wonder there is in following Jesus. She and her husband, Steve, moved to Detroit Lakes in September of 2022 where they are learning to navigate the empty nest season after raising 3 children. Taunya brings to Lakes Area Vineyard over 15 years of experience in leading and speaking at women's events.
